The United Way of Porter County is is a county-wide effort to address health and human service needs. When you give to the United Way, you support a united and planned way to care for local people in need. The United Way brings together many people; donors, volunteers, businesses, unions and agencies to work on solutions to urgent problems like domestic violence, homelessness and poverty. But the United Way does more than raise money! The United Way has served Porter County since 1957 through allocations, communications and marketing, fund-raising, information and referral, community planning and volunteer development.
