Loving this charity. If you need a meal or know of someone who needs a meal, speak up and let them know. Donate $20 to benefit someone in need this Thanksgiving.
There are also more folks doing coming together to do the other non-techie parts. We have teams who are collecting goods, finding organizations and families who need the meals, others who are fund-raising (to pay for the turkeys), some who are keeping the books and others who will help on delivery day (Nov 21 - 22), packing the meal boxes and in some cases, delivery to the family's home.
This enormous task wouldn't be possible without the partnership and fellowship of other teams, organizations, businesses and churches in our community. We are still looking for more individuals and groups to join us.
So, I guess by @500Turkeys up there, I'm talking about Jen (and maybe) Anna. Sorry for the confusion!
